Vietnam Telecomp and Electronics expos to attract giant foreign firms

The 12th International Exhibition o­n Telecommunications and Information Technology (Vietnam Telecomp 2008) and the International Exhibition o­n Electronics Products 2008 (Vietnam Electronics 2008) will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from November 26 to 29 this year.
Two hundred enterprises from 13 countries and territories, including Japan, China, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Norway and the UK, will display their products and services o­n an area of over 6,000 m2 at the city’s international exhibition and convention centre.
Vietnam Telecomp 2008 will highlight 3G technologies, satellite communications, Next Generation Network and Broadband Network, and the successful launch of Vietnam’s first satellite Vinasat-1.
It will also feature seminars o­n “ Market Development and Business Opportunities in the Vietnamese ICT Market in the Integration Era" and "Communications Technology - Innovation, Applications and Convergence".
Meanwhile, Vietnam Electronics 2008 will showcase electronic components & accessories, home entertainment & appliances, multimedia - electronics gaming, office automation & equipment, security products, audio & visual products, and computers & peripherals.
